What's the best thing about today?
Sunday Brunch. :)
I love a big mug of hot tea on chilly days like today. My two favorite flavors are earl grey and Kyoto cherry rose green tea, both with sugar and milk. I like coffee when I'm out at a cafe, it tastes better than if I make it at home. I have a weakness for anything with the name "mocha" in it. ;)
Some things I always keep in my purse: wallet, phone, lipstick, pens, notebook, journal, pocket bible, hairbrush, tissues, and keys.
2008 is the Year of the Rat. Which animal year were you born in?
I'm a sheep ^_^
People born in the Year of Sheep are elegant and highly accomplished in the arts. They seem to be, at first glance, better off than those born in the zodiac's other years. But Sheep year people are often shy, pessimistic, and puzzled about life. They are usually deeply religious, yet timid by nature. Sometimes clumsy in speech, they are always passionate about what they do and what they believe in. Sheep people never have to worry about having the best in life for their abilities make money for them, and they are able to enjoy the creature comforts that they like. Sheep people are wise, gentle, and compassionate. They are compatible with Rabbits, Pigs, and Horses.
You are charming, elegant and artistic.
You like to be comfortable.
You can complain and worry too much.
You will make a good actor, gardener or beachcomber.
Music. Today it was "Somewhere over the rainbow" by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole. I went in the quiet room during lunch and just closed my eyes and let my ipod play.
How bad is it that my job's so stressfull that they need a quiet room on every floor?
What are you saving up for?

Portugal.
My mother is portuguese and I was raised with my heritage being a big part of my life. We went to portugal once when I was a kid and I absolutley loved it there. I've been wanting to go back ever since. This year I'm going. Period. I've planned out how much overtime I would need to do throughout the year to save up enough money to go. I'm looking at the middle of September. My mom and stepdad would like to go to but even if they don't go I'm going. This is it! I'm not putting it off another year! :)
One thing I definitly want to do when I go is to visit the Pena Palace in Sintra. My grandmother told me a story of how she went to visit there when she was a young woman and climbed the little ladder on the outside of the dome to get to the little tower on top. It's very high up and kinda dangerous. Young ladies did NOT do things like that, and her mother was so upset! But she was a rebel I guess. I'm definitly going there and climbing that same ladder just like she did (and yes my mother is worried too ha ha)

Should driving while talking on a cell phone be outlawed?
Submitted by Soup.
Driving while talking on a cell phone doesn't bother me as much as texting while driving does. I'm guilty of both but I admit that texting is alot more dangerous. You need 2 hands and you have to keep looking down at the phone to type. At least when you're driving you can have a headset or bluetooth device so you can keep both hands on the wheel.
Would you go on vacation by yourself, and if so where would you go?

I would love to travel somewhere by myself someday. I think it would be great to feel indipendant and be completely spontanious. I'm also the type of person who does a lot of thinking and reflection when I'm alone. If I could go anywhere I would go back to Portugal. I went once as a kid and I've always wanted to go back. It felt wonderful to be able to experience my heritage by visiting the places where my mother's family came from.
The other places I'd like to visit are San Francisco and Kyoto. San Francisco just seems so exciting and full of culture. Kyoto? Geishas. I would love to see a real one someday. And I like sushi. ;)
