After work I decided to go to walmart and pick up a few things. It's always better to go then since its not so busy. After wandering arounf walmart for an hour or so I decided to grab some food at Jimbo's, my favorite late nite dinner.
It's pretty slow being a Tuesday night so I've been sitting here listening to the waitresses' conversations. Sofar the conversations have ranged from holiday cooking to ungratefull inlaws to the smell of beer to someone getting beat up by their wife with a laundry basket... Ok now its about "Dog" the bounty hunter and how they hope he gets his show back.
I love listening to people talk. These waitresses may not seem interesting at first but coming here as often as I do and listening them talk about their families, lives, and dreams... I'm starting to feel like I know them. They're proud of their grandchildren, and like chatting with customers. They share recipies and stories. And they always have a smile for the quiet girl who come in at 1am on a weekday and types on her phone the whole time. Thats what makes Jimbos one of my favorite places to eat in Wilmington.

Its finally cool enough to wear them. I havent had a pair since I was a kid. They're so rad. I am officially too cool for school.
Sitting in the lobby by some poster for the baseball themed contest we're having. It looks like i have a baloon sitting on my head but its really stuck to the poster.
I havent been able to find my ipod for over a week, its killing me.
Now i have got to get a baby alive for christmas! woo!
I'm in Jacksonville today visiting my parents. We ended up at Beans coffee shop (of course) talking for a few hours. I love spending time with them since we don't get to see each other as much as we'd like.
On the parking deck roof again. This is becoming my get away place... its peaceful and no one else is ever here. and the view is beautiful.
There are no birds today... i was hoping to see some up here.
It may not look like much but dinner tonite was so good. Since I've had a different schedule this week I've been able to come home and have dinner with Brian for my lunch break. Tonight he made meatloaf with broccoli and *hand mashed* potatoes. So yummy! I just had to post about it. :)
I got the cutest hello kitty pirate at the sanrio store the other day, I love the scull on her bow. :) I've also got a little R2-D2 that came from Daniels new lego set. He may not get it back, lol. I always enjoy adding cute things to my desk at work. ;)
I just got an award at work! Basically a customer really liked the service I gave them when they called in and said what a good rep I was. I got some candy and a cute certificate. Yay!
Listening to my ipod on my break. I like to come sit in the lobby because the chairs are cushioned and its quieter here. Since I take calls all day, listening to a couple good songs helps me relax and clear my mind. Today its "I will follow you into the dark" by Death Cab for Cutie and "Again" by Carey Sims. Sort of melancholy but that's ok. I work till 11pm so hopefully this will help me make it through the next couple hours.
