We had so much fun at Kelly and Grey's party, Brian and I went as Alice and the Mad Hatter. There was a ton of people and everyone had a great time.

Kelly's uncle was the DJ and played the best music.  We were dancing all night.  We even put on Rocky Horror and did the time warp!  Some people got it but the rest were looking at us like we were nuts, ha ha!

 

The weekend actualy started early with Brian's birthday on Thurs.   We went out to a tapas restaurant with Kelly and Grey. 

The food was good but our waiter seemed like he couldn't wait for us to leave.  After that we went to the Irish pub to get a cider. 

 

 

 

 

 

Saturday Brian's parents came down and we celebrated his birthday again.  That night Rockzilla played in Sneads Ferry and I just had to go see them.

I had such a great time, Tom's band is so good!  It was great to see him on stage again, he was in Headbanger's Ball when we were dating a few years ago. Rockzilla did a lot of the same songs, it brought back memories of my wilder days "touring" with the band ha ha.

 

It was Rodney's Birthday (Tom's older brother) so he got on stage and sang a few songs.  Ryan also got up there and did a KISS song.  By the end of the night all the girls in the bar were on stage dancing, it was a great show.

 

 

 

It was so good to get to hang out with the Sneads Ferry "Clan" again.  I got so drunk since Ryan and Wanda were buying me drinks... I was hanging all over Wanda saying "I missed you so much!" lol 

 

 

 

 

 

Sunday was Earl's going away party, it started out at the park but ended up at Kelly and Grey's (of course!).  I played Chris in Wii bowling and bet him that if I won I would get to braid his hair.  I lost in the second round but he was a good sport and let me give him a signature style anyway.  ;)  Yeah, it didn't last long before he made me take it out, ha ha!

The party lasted well into the night... Poor Kelly and Grey were all worn out!

Kelly invited us to see the midnight showing of the new Harry Potter movie with her, Grey, and her sister.  Brian and I aren't big fans or anything (never even read the books *gasp*) but it was alot of fun.  The theater was sooo packed!  I'm glad we got out tickets online in advance.  The movie was really great, and Kelly and I always have a great time together. 

Her and Brian even conspired behind my back to play a trick on me.  Earlier today I was teasing him about text messaging her so much, so when we met them at the theater, she called his phone and the ringtone was "Secret Lovers" like the cell phone comercial!! It was soooo funny!   They crack me up.  We had such a great time. 

 

 

We had the best time at Kelly and Grey's house!  They bought a little kiddie pool so Kelly and I got to chill out while the boys made lunch.  We had grilled shrimp, bbq chicken, baked beans, potato salad and watermellon. Yum!

We broke out the DDR and had a blast, Chris even started to kneel down and play with his hands! Ha ha! The best part was the go cart rides, Earl decided to give me a quick run around the neighborhood and almost gave me a heart attack!  Never ride anything while that man is driving.  I swear I saw my life flash before my eyes, I was screaming the whole time. 

After that I met up with Dan and Cicero to see the fireworks downtown.  It was so packed!  I had to park really far away and run in order to make it in time.  The fireworks were really great though, so it was worth it.

This was really one of the best 4th of July's I've ever had.

Sunday Brian and I went of to Kelly and Grey's for steaks and video games.  They boys tried grilling the sweet potato slices we gave them, but us girls had to take over to make sure it was done right. ;)

After dinner we had so much fun playing Mario Party 8 and DDR.  I had never played either one before and now I want my own DDR game so bad! 

After the video games Kelly and I got to drive the go cart a little bit, we were screaming and laughing all the way down the street at 11:30 at night!  We had so much fun! 

 

Kelly and I went shopping at the Crabtree Valley Mall in Raleigh today to celebrate getting our bonuses.  I completely forgot they had a Coach store, but they did and I couldn't stay away.  I got the hamptons signature bag I wanted!  I'm so happy, I looooove this bag!  I told myself that I only needed one Coach bag, but somehow I've ended up with a dark brown signature tote, small black mini-purse, pink wallet, signature ipod nano case, and now my hamptons signature bag.  Brian created a monster when he got my first bag on Valentine's day.

 

Kelly and I had such a good time, the 2 hour drive gave us a chance to really talk.  We ate lunch at the cheesecake factory to get the free valet parking (so worth it) and then we went back to get a slice of banana creme cheesecake before we drove back.  I got a pair of the new skinny lee jeans, makeup at sephora (I loooove sephora), my coach bag and a ton of stuff at the sanrio store (hello kitty heaven).  Kelly was so excited to go to the mac store that I took her picture by the giant apple. ;)

 

 

I finally got the hello kitty waffle iron today too, it makes little hello kitty shaped waffles!  I've wanted it for a while, and they had one left so I had to get it.  I can't wait to use it.

Overall a great day of shopping and spending waaaay to much money.  :)

Today we had Kelly and Grey over for Tea and Wii.  We had a tea party style brunch with tea sandwiches, mini quiches, cucumber sandwiches, scones and strawberries. 

After we got done eating, we played the Wii for hours, Brian finally beat Rayman Raving Rabbids.  Most of the mini-games were rythm games which Brian sucks at so he made Kelly play all those levels, it was late but he kept asking them to stay just so he could beat the game, ha ha!  Kelly and I also made plans to go to Raleigh next weekend to go shopping with our bonus money.  Kelly shares my love for all things Hello Kitty, so a stop at the Sanrio store is definitly on the list.

They also stayed for dinner, Brian made a yummy pot roast and him and Grey picked up some wine to go with it.

I love days like this, having company over and just having fun.  We'll definitly do this again.

Brian got reservations at our favorite restaurant, The Little Dipper. We went with Kelly and Grey, they're so much fun. We'd wanted to have fondue together for a while and we had a great time.

I have the sweetest husband in the world, and this was our first married Valentine's Day together. It was wonderful. :)

I can't believe I didnt' post about Valentine's Day yet!  I took the day off, it felt great to sleep in and veg out in front of the TV. 

Brian got reservations for dinner but didn't tell me where until the last minute, The Little Dipper, our favorite fondue restaurant!   It turns out he had to call them back in December just to get a reservation.

Our friends Kelly and Grey had dinner with us, we'd wanted to have fondue together for a while we had a great time. 

I got my card from Brian after we got back, I actually saw that exact card in the store and thought how pretty it was.  It was a total coincidence that Brian got it for me. 

Overall it was a great day.  :)

We went to the tearoom with Kelly and Grey for brunch this afternoon, they'd never been before and really enjoyed it. Then tonight we went to James and Stephanie's for their superbowl party.

I love days like today, it's so much fun to spend time with friends we don't get to see often. Most of us work together but either we work on different floors or we have different schedules.

We're hoping to all meet at James's house this Wednesday for the new episode of LOST, I can't wait!
