Who loves Alice Blue Candles? I do! I do!
"Walking through a pine forest ... baking in the kitchen ... the coffee shop around the corner ...
Alice Blue Candle has taken the familiar, much-loved scents and used them in their scented soy wax candles. These candles are manufactured in the Philippines from imported raw materials and are hand-crafted under strict quality standards.
Alice Blue Candle uses only premium fragrance oils that are carefully selected to blend with their soy wax, thus creating the highly scented candles that they are known for."
My room smells like Mediterranean Fig right now, which is a sweety fruity fig mixed with green apple, strawberry and melon. I blew out the candle at 1AM before I retired for the night and my room, 15 hours later, still smells soo good.
While having our yearly Christmas dinner at my Grandma's house, this lady started talking about her business of making name bracelets. I thought they were so cute that I decided to make one for Hannah (Mark's niece) and eventually got into the whole "shiny, shimmering splendid" thing and got one for myself too.
Mark just scoffed, I am in reality "too old" for these kind of bejeweled things but I just found them utterly cute. Tee-hee.
That's my cousin Krizia and her mom Aunt Malou watching Tess (lady on far right) making the bracelets. We asked her to stop eating so she would finish right away. Yep, we are such meanies.
Each bracelet (depending on the thickness of the band and the number of letters needed) cost about Php 300 ($6.25) more or less. Not bad for a personalized gift :)
Wheee!!! I love pink! And so it was obvious that I'd go for the bright pink leather band, while I chose the glittery fuschia band for Hannah (she is btw, just 5 years old).
And Tish (my sister) just dismissed the idea altogether. She was so over the name bracelet thing since she had one 2 years ago.
We were all happy campers after we got our bracelets. Why, even my 80-year old Grandma had one made too ;D

Moonmallow (the adorable plushie above) and I hope you and your loved ones have some very happy hollydays this year. ^___^ I've been busy with buying pressies for my friends and family, wrapping the pressies, and sending out cards to people over the past few weeks. Everything seems like a blur-- but a very happy blur!
I'm sending many warm thoughts your way. <3
GAH. When I AGREED to Mom's choice of curtains this year, I had no idea it would look like this:
Believe me it looks so pretty in actual, but the color reminds me of a certain Presidentiable whom I am not voting for but my parents are (if you are Filipino you'd get my drift just by looking at the photo above).
I am so sorry Mr. Teodoro for having forsaken thee...I swear I did not do this on purpose. The parents tricked me!
